One day after a big store an old man took a
walk along the beach. He seen thousands of starfish had washed up on the
shore and started picking them up and tossing them back into the water
before they dried out. A young boy was also taking a walk along the beach
to see what the storm might of washed ashore. He walked up to the man
and asked him what difference he thought he could make with all the
thousands of starfish that were going to dry out and die soon. The
old man reached down and picked up another one and tossed it out in the
ocean and told the boy that he had made a differece to that one. Things in
life might seem impossible to us and we might not be able to make a
difference in everyone's life but with a little bit of effort we can make
a big difference to some. |
